We take over one whole place, an estate, villa, or lodge, and close the doors to everyone but a select circle of families for a stretch of days. With seamless logistics, and tailored adventures already handled, we give you the space to rediscover what your family feels like with absolutely nowhere else to be.

What Family Camp Is
The days are filled with things worth doing, though not one of them is required. Join the morning, rest in the afternoon, or spend a whole quiet day by the water. The kids are immersed in the experience with you the whole time, sharing the same long afternoons and the same evening table, and that's exactly the reason why we gather.
You don't book Family Camp,
you join it.
Together is the point. The best part of a family trip is the family itself, gathered in one place, sharing one experience, with nothing pulling anyone toward a screen or a schedule. We design every day around that connection, treating it as the trip, not the intermission.
The world teaches kids better than a screen ever could. A single week of actually living somewhere beats a year of being told about it. Kids come home understanding, in their bones, that the way we do things at home is a way, not the way. That's how you raise a global citizen.
The mental load shouldn't be yours. Someone always ends up being the planner, the driver, the one who can't switch off because they're tracking everyone else. On a Family Camp, that role belongs to us. You finally get to simply be a parent on vacation, which is a different experience entirely.
Where the money lands matters. At least 75 percent of what you spend stays exactly where you're standing, supporting the family that owns the estate and the guides who grew up down the road. The industry average is a third of that. We don't write a check at the end and call it impact. We put the money right in local hands from the start, and we are proud to share our metrics with you.

A pool to relax in, Lusitano horses in the courtyard, some of the darkest skies in Europe, and someone's avó making you dinner. Who's behind it
Kristin Winkaffe spent years in human rights and international development, across more than sixty countries, before she built Winkaffe Global Travel. That's the reason the impact part is real and not a slogan: she came to this believing that travel money, put in the right hands, reaches people faster than most aid ever does.
She hosts every Family Camp herself, on the ground the whole time, with her own family in the mix. She's the one choosing the families, setting the tone, and making sure a dozen households who've never met go home as each other's people. Family Camp is new. That part isn't.
